Mind over muscle: can meditation beat stress to boost athletic performance?
NCT ID NCT05612295
Summary
This study tested whether a special mindfulness training program could help athletes perform better during high-pressure situations. Researchers compared the mindfulness program to a positive self-talk technique and a no-training group in 97 young endurance athletes. The goal was to see if learning to manage stress and focus the mind could improve physical performance and mental skills like concentration and emotion control.
