First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness-based psychoeducation program could help people with anxiety disorders feel less stressed, handle uncertainty better, and think more flexibly. Fifty adults with diagnosed anxiety were split into two groups: one received the mindfulness program, the other did not. Researchers measured changes in stress, uncertainty tolerance, and cognitive flexibility before, after, and one month following the program.
