Summary
This study is testing whether mindfulness-based relapse prevention groups delivered over video calls are more effective than standard online support groups at helping people maintain long-term recovery from alcohol use disorder. It will involve 470 adults across the U.S. who want to reduce or stop drinking. Researchers will follow participants for three years to see which approach better supports recovery and improves quality of life.
