AI mindfulness coach: could ChatGPT beat a standard audio guide for stress?
NCT ID NCT07333365
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether an interactive, ChatGPT-powered mindfulness breathing exercise can lower stress and boost well-being more effectively than a standard audio recording or a mind-wandering control. About 210 adults aged 18 to 30 will be randomly assigned to one of three short online sessions. Researchers will measure changes in stress, anxiety, mood, self-control, and mindfulness right after the session.
