First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether mindfulness-based breathing exercises can reduce shortness of breath, control symptoms, and improve quality of life in people with lung cancer who are getting chemotherapy. About 60 patients will take part, with half learning the breathing exercises and the other half receiving usual care. The exercises involve focusing on your breath for 20-30 minutes each week for eight weeks. Researchers will measure symptoms and well-being before and after the program.
