Can mindfulness boost brain stimulation for depression?

Summary

This small pilot study will test whether adding brief guided mindfulness exercises (using a smartphone app) to standard accelerated brain stimulation therapy can help people with major depression. Twenty adults already receiving the brain stimulation at the Medical University of South Carolina will participate. The goal is to see if this combination is feasible and may improve mood and mindfulness.
