NCT ID NCT06233344

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding 8 weeks of mindfulness training to a single dose of psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) improves mental health more than psilocybin alone. Forty healthy adults aged 25+ who have never used psychedelics or done formal mindfulness training will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. The goal is to see if the combination reduces stress and changes brain activity.
