First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study is testing a new smartphone app that uses mindfulness exercises to help cancer survivors quit smoking. The app is designed to be used in daily life, offering support whenever needed. Researchers will enroll 50 adults who have been diagnosed with cancer and smoke at least one cigarette a day. The goal is to see if the app is easy to use and satisfying, not to measure long-term quitting success.
