Can a phone app teach mindfulness to keep teens safer?
NCT ID NCT05146167
Summary
This study tested whether a one-month meditation app could be a practical tool for youth on probation. Researchers wanted to see if teens would use the app regularly and if they could collect data on their cannabis use, sexual health, and mental health remotely. The goal was to explore if mindfulness training could help prevent risky behaviors that lead to HIV and sexually transmitted infections.
