Summary

This study tests a program that combines mindfulness exercises with simulated patient scenarios to help nursing students feel more prepared for end-of-life care. Researchers will measure changes in compassion, attitudes toward dying patients, and professional quality of life in 182 nursing students in Hong Kong. The goal is to see if adding mindfulness to simulation training reduces anxiety and improves care skills.
