Summary

This study tested a program to help VA doctors and nurses reduce burnout by practicing mindfulness while washing their hands. 343 healthcare workers either received mindfulness training and used hand washing as a cue to focus, or continued as usual. The goal was to see if this simple habit could improve well-being, increase mindfulness, and boost proper hand hygiene.
