Can mindfulness curb binge eating? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06528067
Summary
This study is testing whether a new 8-week program combining mindful eating counseling with daily meditation is acceptable and practical for people who binge eat. Researchers will compare this program to meditation alone in 100 adults, some from the community and some who are students. The main goal is to see if people find the program helpful and easy to follow, while also checking if it reduces binge eating episodes.
