Can imagining your future make you take your pills?
NCT ID NCT07174778
Summary
This study is testing if a mental exercise called 'Episodic Future Thinking' can help people with atrial fibrillation (AFib) remember to take their blood-thinning medication. 68 participants will be split into two groups: one group will practice imagining positive future events linked to taking their medicine, while the other receives standard care. Researchers will check if this mind training improves how regularly people take their pills over three months.
