New telehealth program aims to ease the pain of sickle cell disease in teens
NCT ID NCT06691867
Summary
This study is testing whether a special group training program can help teens with sickle cell disease manage their chronic pain and improve their daily lives. The program, delivered over video calls, teaches skills to strengthen both the mind and body. Researchers will compare teens who start the program right away to those who receive standard care first to see if it reduces pain and helps with daily activities.
