First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if a mind-body medicine training program could help parole staff feel less stressed, anxious, and burned out, while increasing their resilience and empathy. Twenty-seven staff members attended a 4-day training, a 2-day practicum, and group sessions, and filled out questionnaires to measure changes. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
