New Mind-Body therapy trial aims to ease chronic knee pain
NCT ID NCT07395427
Summary
This study is testing if a mind-body movement therapy can help people with knee osteoarthritis better than standard physical therapy or just doing exercises at home. The therapy, called Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT), focuses on improving body awareness, posture, and movement quality. Researchers will compare the effects of BBAT, standard physiotherapy, and a home exercise program on pain, strength, balance, and quality of life over an eight-week period.
