First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study compares a minimally invasive procedure (endovascular treatment) to standard care for 300 adults aged 18-80 who have had a mild stroke caused by a blocked large artery in the front part of the brain. Participants must be treated within 24 hours of symptoms starting. The goal is to see if the procedure leads to better recovery (no or minimal disability) compared to standard care alone.
