First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether a mild cooling device worn on the head for 30 minutes can reduce the severity of chronic tinnitus (ringing in the ears). Eighty adults with constant tinnitus will either receive the cooling therapy or a sham device. Researchers will measure changes in tinnitus loudness, awareness, and disturbance right after the session.
