New brain artery procedure tested for stubborn migraines

NCT ID NCT07313800

Summary

This pilot study is testing a new procedure that places tiny coils in a specific brain artery to see if it can provide lasting relief for people with migraines that don't respond to standard medications. It will involve 25 adults who have frequent migraines despite trying other treatments. Researchers will track participants' headache days, pain levels, and quality of life for a full year after the procedure to check safety and see if benefits last.
