Could blocking a tiny artery in the head stop debilitating migraines?
NCT ID NCT06735833
Summary
This study is testing the safety and initial effectiveness of a minimally invasive procedure for adults with severe, treatment-resistant chronic migraines. The procedure involves injecting a medical glue-like substance into a specific artery in the head to block its blood flow. Researchers aim to see if this reduces the number of migraine days participants experience.
