Could migraine pills quiet the ringing in your ears?
NCT ID NCT06799169
Summary
This study is testing whether two different combinations of existing migraine medications can help people with recent-onset ringing in the ears (tinnitus). One hundred adults will take either nortriptyline with topiramate or verapamil with paroxetine for eight weeks to see if it reduces the distress and impact of tinnitus on their daily life. Researchers will use surveys and brain scans to measure changes in symptoms, stress, and sleep quality.
