Summary

This study tested whether giving a pill called midodrine can help critically ill patients with shock stop receiving intravenous norepinephrine (a blood pressure medicine) sooner. The trial included 112 stable patients who had been on a low dose of norepinephrine for over a day. Researchers measured how long it took to wean patients off the IV drug.
