Summary
This study compares two ways of placing a midline catheter (a type of IV) in children aged 2 to 17. Doctors will randomly assign 96 kids to have the catheter placed in either the basilic or cephalic vein. The goal is to see which approach allows easier blood draws and causes fewer problems.
