First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive ear measurement called Wideband Tympanometry to see if it can predict how well speech travels through the middle ear. Researchers will compare these measurements with standard speech tests in 45 adults with normal hearing or conductive hearing loss. The goal is to develop a simple, behavior-free test that helps doctors better select and adjust middle ear implants.
