NCT ID NCT07184125

Summary

This study tested whether a single dose of the medication midazolam could reduce anxiety in women before breast cancer surgery. 124 women were randomly assigned to receive either midazolam or a placebo (saltwater) injection before their procedure. Researchers measured anxiety levels before and after the medication, and asked patients about their satisfaction the day after surgery.
