First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study follows about 200 teens with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis who received the MID-C implant, an internal brace that helps straighten the spine. The goal is to see if the device remains safe and keeps the spine curve at 40 degrees or less for 5 years after surgery. Participants have moderate curves (35-60 degrees) that are flexible enough to correct with bending.
