New microwave scanner aims to see what mammograms see
NCT ID NCT07273565
Summary
This study is testing whether a new, low-power microwave scanner can provide similar information about breast tissue as traditional mammograms. Researchers will scan up to 20 women who have been called back for follow-up breast imaging after a suspicious mammogram. The goal is to see if the microwave images match the mammogram pictures in terms of breast positioning, tissue density, and areas of concern.
