Summary
This study tested whether a microwave probe inserted through the rectum can safely destroy the main tumor in men with low-risk prostate cancer. Eleven patients received the treatment guided by MRI and ultrasound images. The goal was to see if the tumor was completely killed and if sexual function was preserved.
