New stent aims to save legs from amputation

Summary
This study tests a tiny mesh tube (stent) placed in leg arteries to keep them open. It is for people with severe leg pain or wounds from poor blood flow. Half get the stent plus balloon angioplasty, half get balloon alone. The goal is to see if the stent helps avoid repeat procedures or amputation.
