Can a Microscope's magnified view heal wounds faster?
NCT ID NCT07323615
Summary
This study aims to find out if cleaning skin wounds while looking through a surgical microscope is better than cleaning them with the naked eye. Researchers will compare the two methods in 98 adults with chronic wounds to see which leads to better healing, less pain, and fewer bacteria one week after the procedure. Both groups will also receive a standard vacuum dressing to help the wound heal.
