NCT ID NCT07480980

First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at why some people who need regular blood transfusions develop harmful antibodies against donor blood. Researchers will measure a small molecule called microRNA-155 in 100 transfusion-dependent patients to see if it is linked to this immune reaction. The goal is to better understand the cause, which could lead to safer transfusions in the future.
