First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether exposure to tiny plastic particles (microplastics) is linked to the development of stomach cancer and its early stages. Researchers will ask 450 adults with different stomach conditions to fill out a questionnaire about their exposure to microplastics. The goal is to see if higher exposure increases cancer risk and identify common sources of microplastic exposure.
