Zapping eyes with tiny currents to fight vision loss

Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle electrical current applied near the eye can help slow vision loss from dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD). About 100 participants with intermediate to advanced dry AMD will use the device at home for 11 months, with some receiving a fake (sham) treatment for comparison. The main goal is to see if the treatment safely helps people maintain or improve their reading chart scores better than the sham.
