This study looked at whether using a special device to measure blood flow in tiny vessels under the tongue, along with standard monitoring, could help patients recover faster after major vascular surgery. The trial planned to include 22 high-risk adults but was stopped early. The main goal was to see if the extra monitoring reduced the number of days spent in the hospital.
