Summary

This study tests whether transplanting healthy gut bacteria (fecal microbiota transplant) along with special prebiotics can help people with long-term constipation that hasn't improved with standard treatments. Nineteen adults with refractory functional constipation will receive the combination therapy. The goal is to improve bowel movement frequency and stool consistency while rebuilding a healthier gut environment.
