First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at very small movements (micro-movements) in people who have been unconscious for a long time after a severe brain injury. The goal is to see if these movements can help doctors better understand a patient's level of awareness and improve diagnosis. Researchers will use special tests, brain scans (EEG and MRI), and follow patients for 6 months to track their recovery.
