First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at how the tissue in a leg amputation stump heals in people with and without diabetes. Researchers will use a small probe (microdialysis) to measure chemicals that show blood flow, inflammation, and infection risk. The goal is to understand why healing differs between these groups and improve care after surgery.
