First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app, used alongside standard care, can help people who have had a stroke recover their ability to swallow safely. About 74 adults with swallowing difficulties after a stroke will either use the app or receive usual care alone. The goal is to see if the app reduces risks like pneumonia and improves quality of life.
