App attack on swallowing woes after stroke

NCT ID NCT07267468

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app, used alongside standard care, can improve swallowing recovery in stroke patients who have trouble swallowing. About 74 adults who had a stroke and now have swallowing issues will either get usual care alone or usual care plus the app. The app provides information and tracks progress. Researchers will compare how well each group recovers and whether the app reduces complications like pneumonia or malnutrition.
