First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app, used alongside standard care, can help people who have had a stroke recover their ability to swallow. The app provides information and tracks progress. Researchers will compare recovery, complications like pneumonia, and quality of life between app users and those receiving usual care alone. About 74 adults with swallowing problems after a stroke will take part.
