New hope for tough cancers: first human test of experimental drug begins

NCT ID NCT06723236

Summary

This is the first study in humans of an experimental drug called MGC028 for people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will test increasing doses in about 124 participants to find the highest safe amount and check for side effects. They will also see if the drug can shrink tumors or stop cancer from growing in people with specific cancers like lung, pancreatic, bile duct, or colorectal cancer.
