First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, mezigdomide and elranatamab, in 75 people with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (a blood cancer that has come back or stopped responding to treatment). The goal is to see how well the combination works and how safe it is. Participants will receive injections of elranatamab along with oral mezigdomide, with doses adjusted based on response.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- mezigdomide and elranatamab
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this combination could offer a new treatment option for patients with multiple myeloma that has stopped responding to other therapies.
- What could go wrong
- This is an early-phase trial (Phase I/II) with only 75 participants, so results may not apply broadly. Side effects from the drugs could be significant, and the combination may not work better than existing treatments.
