Summary
This study tested whether adding an immunotherapy drug (nivolumab) to standard chemotherapy (FLOX) could help people with a certain type of advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. The trial included 80 adults who had not received prior treatment for their metastatic disease. The main goal was to see if the combination slowed cancer growth better than chemotherapy alone.
