Summary
This study tested whether methylone, a medication similar to MDMA, could safely help adults with moderate to severe PTSD. It involved 79 participants who had not improved with standard treatments. Participants received weekly methylone doses for a month, followed by several weeks of monitoring to check for symptom changes and side effects.
