First seen Mar 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether injecting methylene blue directly into tumors can make radiation more effective for head and neck cancer that has returned and is resistant to prior radiation. Ten adults with this condition will receive weekly tumor injections of methylene blue or a placebo alongside six weeks of radiation. The main goals are to check safety and see if the combination improves outcomes.
