Summary
This study tested whether methoxyflurane (Penthrox®), a pain-relief inhaler used for trauma, can quickly reduce pain in adults with dental emergencies. 190 participants received either the drug or a placebo. The goal was to see if it lowers pain within 15 minutes, offering a fast option while waiting for dental treatment.
