NCT ID NCT04237103
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding methotrexate (a medication) to UVB light therapy helps adults with active, widespread vitiligo regain skin color. 32 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the combination or light therapy alone. The main goal was to measure changes in vitiligo severity using the VASI score. Results help determine if the combination is more effective and safe than light therapy alone.
