Cancer drug side effect trial halted early
NCT ID NCT06001125
Summary
This study tested whether methotrexate could help cancer patients who developed painful joint inflammation as a side effect of their immunotherapy treatment. The trial specifically enrolled patients whose joint pain wasn't well controlled by standard treatments. Researchers wanted to see if methotrexate could reduce the need for steroid medications while managing these side effects.
