First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study measured levels of a specific enzyme (α-N-acetylgalactosaminidase) in the blood of 93 people: those with methamphetamine use disorder, those with methamphetamine-induced psychosis, and healthy controls. The goal was to see if lower enzyme levels are connected to psychotic symptoms. No treatment was given; it was purely observational.
