First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether people on methadone who smoke cigarettes could switch to either e-cigarettes (JUUL with 5% nicotine) or nicotine lozenges for 6 weeks. Researchers measured nicotine levels, lung function, and smoking habits. The goal was to see if switching to these alternatives could reduce smoking and improve health.
