Summary
This study is testing if giving a single dose of methadone during knee replacement surgery helps reduce pain and the need for strong opioid painkillers afterward. It involves 162 adults getting elective knee surgery under spinal anesthesia. The goal is to see if this method leads to less pain in recovery and a better overall experience for patients.
